100% Rebo - Vintage 2020. The Rebo grape takes its name from Rebo Rigotti (1891-1971), a researcher at the Experimental Station of San Michele all'Adige (TN), who made this cross around 1920, with the intention of find a substitute for Merlot to be used in less suitable areas. The Rebo found its area of choice in the Valle dei Laghi, the land of origin of its creator. Here, thanks to particularly suitable soils and the mild and ventilated microclimate, the grapes for this particularly structured wine are obtained. Wine that has a ruby red color with violet reflections and a pleasant elegant bouquet, the Rebo is characterized by intense and varied fragrances of ripe fruit, with clear hints of blackberry and raspberry. The flavor is full, velvety and with a remarkable structure.
